With over a decade in manufacturing, our founder, James Nielsen, has worked in nearly every aspect of the industry—CNC operator, machinist, tool & die, automation technician, CNC programmer, and manufacturing engineer. Now, as a business owner and marketer, he's on a mission to bridge the gap between professional manufacturing and the CNC hobbyist community.

We know firsthand that many CNC users don’t come from a machining background. That’s why our products are designed with simplicity in mind—from ready-to-run CNC programs to workflow resources and tool master templates. Everything we offer is built to reduce complexity, streamline processes, and improve profitability for small shops and independent makers.

More than just a digital resource provider, we’re here to support the community. James started out just like many of you—learning through trial and error, self-teaching, and relying on a few great mentors. Now, through Two Hounds Digital, he’s paying it forward, making CNC more accessible to those who want to spend less time troubleshooting and more time creating.

And as for the name? It’s a nod to the two biggest supporters behind the scenes—Porter and Hazel, our loyal hounds who are always by our side.
